Nach einem aussergewöhnlichen Jahr freuen wir uns umso mehr, dass der wichtigste Event der Meterspurigen am 4. November bereits zum 6. Knutti, ETH Zürich ### Die Bedeutung der Mobilität für den Klimawandel Wir sind dabei, das Klima zu verändern, und die Auswirkungen werden weitreichend sein. Verantwortlich für die Emissionen in der Schweiz ist fast zur Hälfte der Strassen und Flugverkehr. Es gibt viele Lösungen, aber der politische Wille fehlt. Mit Fake News, Partikularinteressen und unterschiedlichen Wertvorstellungen stehen wir uns selber im Weg. --- Thomas Sauter-Servaes, Professor ZHAW School of Engineering ### Life Centered Mobility – von Plattformen und Ökosystemen Der Megatrend Digitalisierung verändert unsere Mobilität grundlegend. Gegenwärtig werden zahlreiche Ansätze für neue multimodale Plattform- und Abomodelle getestet. Im Zentrum steht die funktionale und emotionale Substitution des privaten Besitzautos durch ein bequem nutzbares Bündel an Mobilitätsdienstleistungen – mit der Bahn als Rückgrat? Der Vortrag zeigt auf, wie sich unsere Konsumgewohnheiten durch Smartphone & Co. verändert haben. Während sich die Automobilindustrie derzeit quasi neu erfindet, fokussiert sich der öV weitgehend auf das Agieren in bestehenden Silos. Dass es auch anders geht, beweisen erste Mobility-as-a-Service-Lösungen. Denn wir haben schon alle Zutaten für ein Besitzauto-Substitut. Wir müssen nur noch das richtige Mischungsverhältnis finden. --- Christian Florin, Stv. Direktor und Leiter Infrastruktur Rhätische Bahn AG Gerhard Züger, Leiter Produktion und Rollmaterial zb Zentralbahn AG ### «nextRAILplus» die Antwort der Meterspurigen auf die Digitalisierung der Bahnproduktion RAILplus hat die Ad hoc Arbeitsgruppe «nextRAILplus» gebildet, um sich mit dem Programm ERTMS in der Branche abzustimmen. Es wurde erörtert, welche Elemente für die Meterspurbahnen eine grosse Wirkung haben. Dabei wurde einen Exkurs in Richtung ATO, zu dem Projekt, das schon am weitesten fortgeschritten ist, gemacht.
